She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Summers and Genieve Summers; her former husband Roy Gossett; and her husband Richard Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Bob Gossett, Deborah Pyland (David) and Gary Gossett (Diane); and her grandchildren, Lucky Pyland, Kris and Zachary Gossett. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
