He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Horak and Marie Horak (Stupka); his granddaughter Katie Torstenson; and his siblings, Jennie Ladiski, Mildred Stasa, Beatrice Beldyga and Joseph Horak.
He is survived by: his wife Katie; and his children, Michael Horak (Julie), Jamie Horak (Kathy), Martin Horak (Cindi), Thomas Horak (Dawn) and Janelle Morgan (Shad). He is also survived by 7 granddaughters and 1 grandson; 12 great-grandchildren; other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (915 E Oliver St, Owosso, MI 48867).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Shiawassee Conservation Club.
