He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony Bott and Alma Bott (Drake); and his siblings, Bob Bott (Dorthy), Don Bott (Virg), Rosemary Edwards (Arlie), Cletis Nall (Bill), Marsha Bott and Betty Mael (Paul).

He is survived by : his wife Esther Dawson; his daughter Lori Pelikan (Joe); his grandchildren, D. J. Walker and James Walker (Mary); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Emery and Emily Walker; his sister Catherine Hagerty (John); and his siblings-in-law, Dora Dawson and Dwight Dawson (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
