John Steve Pajtas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Steve Pajtas of Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Steve Pajtas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pajtas and Mary Pajtas (Patoprsty); his wife Sally Pajtas; and his siblings, Fred Pajtas (Phyllis), George Pajtas (Bernice), Robert Pajtas (Sharleen) and Barbara Jean Pajtas.
He is survived by: his children, John S. Pajtas Jr., Linda Pappas (John), Bethany Bittinger (Bart), Nadine Pajtas and Dennis Pajtas (Lisa); his grandchildren, John F. Pajtas (Cassie), Kelli Thompson (James), Lindley Dooge (Jordan), Jason Pappas (Julie), Matthew Pappas, Gregory Pappas, Colleen Anders (Mike), Jeffrey Bupp, Justine Boon (Dirk), Austin Fisher (Melissa), Alaina Fisher, Ashley Pajtas and Christopher Pajtas; and his sister Margaret Waters (Richard). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A rosary was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (915 E Oliver St, Owosso, MI 48867).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Friends of Corunna Historical Village or charity of choice.
