He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hemgesberg and Carmelita Hemgesberg (Gross); and his siblings, Mary Bitterman, Betty Bruff, Patricia Patterson, Alvin and Bill Hemgesberg.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette (Grnak); his daughters, Linda Murphy (Mike), Diane Carl (Dennis) and Lori Janca (Tom); his grandchildren, Nicholas Venne, Todd Venne (Lauren), Megan Brady (Mike), Brian Murphy (Missy), Janae Janca and Alex Janca; and his siblings, Sally Gross, Dan, Mike and Jim Hemgesberg. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent DePaul or Shiawassee County Council on Aging "Meals on Wheels" program.
