She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hosteter and Jennie Hosteter (DeWind); her husband Vernon; and her siblings, Ruth, Edward, Martha and Verna.

She is survived by: her children, Janna Christenson (Jacque), James Patchen and Jonathan Patchen (Nanci); her close friend Dee Whisman; her grandchildren, Janelle Blazina (Jesse), Charles Patchen and Zachary Patchen; her great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Hadassa, Elijah and Malakai Blazina; her brother Robert Hosteter (Sylvia); and her brother-in-law Mickey McCoy.
