He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Edward and Helen M. Kauffman (Davidhizar); and his siblings, Wayne Kauffman, Janet Zimmerman and Nancy Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue (Link); his daughter Laurel Cummings (Roger) of Owosso; his adoptive daughter Gaelle Purro (Cedric) of Estavayer, Switzerland; his sister Doris Reese (Allen) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Brendan, Brady Cummings, Juliette and Capucine Purro; and his sibling's children, Beth, Christi, Lisa, Tracey, Bruce, Debra, Carolyn, Mary Jane and Jim.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Clinton Frame Church (63846 Co Rd 35, Goshen, IN 46528). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
