She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Varady and Irene Varady; her husband Lyle Splan; her daughters, Dinah Tyler and Kristina Stevens; her brother Alex Varady Jr.; and the father of her children Donald Boose.
She is survived by: her children, Teri Rossman of Florida, Ruth Benovic (Mike) of Fruitport, Debbie Price (Art) of Ovid, Chris Campbell (Bob) of Bath, Irene Wyrick (David) of Byron, Kathy Bracey (Brian) of Ovid, Karen Rosquin (Dave) of West Bloomfield and Daniel Spear (Sandie) of Battle Creek; and her stepchildren, Robert Splan of Tennessee, Bill Splan (Gail) of Owosso and Kim Powell (Abe) of Laingsburg. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
