She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lasure and Alma Lasure (Preger); her husband Ronald Chaffee; and her brothers, Frank and Byron Lasure.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Brasington (James) of Metamora and Jody Collins (Ronald) of Highland, California; her granddaughters, Jessica Najarian (Duane) and Jennifer Lombard (Douglas); and her brother Frederick Lasure. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
