He is survived by: his children, Edmund "Ed" and Isabel E. Triest; his parents, Edmund Triest and Isabel Triest; his siblings, Ann Marie Wilkins (David) and Eddie Triest (Linda Liphardt); his nephew Joseph Wilkins; his niece Elizabeth Wilkins; and his pet Prince. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
