David L. Hornak Obituary
The memory of David L. Hornak of Oxford, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hornak and Anita Hornak. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Corriveau (Patrick) and Joseph Hornak; and his children, Lynn Wright, Peggy Auciello and Scott Hornak. He is also survived by grandchildren, and five treasured great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Clawson (1368 N Crooks Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025.
