She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Adams; her mother Anna Schrieber; her stepfather Otto Schrieber; and her brother Will Krueger. She is survived by: her children, Pam Rulason (Den) of Lake Orion, Todd Curtis (Gina) of Lapeer, Teddy Ann Christie (Jim) of Lake Orion and Chuck Spencer (Shirley) of The Colony; her grandchildren, Star Kennedy (Lance), Ben Rulason (Kylee), Jim Christie, Cory Christie (Brian), Todd Christie, Julie Groce (Kris), Tina Smith (Domingo), Andrea, Ashley, Stephanie Crow (Carl) and Amy Trebendis (Ron); and her great grandchildren, Skye, Lance, William, Tucker, Cooper, Abby, Adam, Ethan, Kelsey, Eli and Isaac.
Donations in Elaine's honor can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and Leader Dogs for the Blind.
