He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his siblings, Rita Pedersen, Jack Cavellier and Jerry Cavellier. He is survived by: his children, Jim Cavellier, Jr. (Sally) and Amy Shehab (Edward); his stepson David Bromley; his grandchildren, Katie (Tony), Megan (Jake), Alex (Kaitlin), Eddie and Paige; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Luka, Noah, Joey and Garrison; and his siblings, Mary Lou Burns, Kitty Vigneau and Richard Cavellier.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Directors (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (3400 S Adams Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326).
