He was predeceased by : his mother Frances Erickson (D'Alcorn); his in-laws, Donald and Ardis Dahlquist; his nephew Eric Dahlquist; and his parent Mauritz Louis Erickson.

He is survived by : his wife Sue Erickson (Dahlquist); his children, Erica Ihrke (Kevin) of Oxford and Jason Erickson (Monica) of Laingsburg, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kiersten, Korinne Ihrke of Oxford, Jayden and Paige Erickson of Laingsburg, Michigan; his siblings, Ronald Erickson (Ann) of Croswell and Wendy Koerner (Mark) of Haslett, Michigan; and his brother-in-law Randy Dahlquist (Debbie) of Muskegon, Michigan.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion Chapel (111 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church (140 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362).
