With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Kangas of Palmer, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Maki; his son Gary Kangas (Patti); and his siblings, Wally, Doreen'Betty' Pietila (William) and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Kangas (Jerry Iery) of Palmer and Randal Kangas of Midway Location; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Nathan Kangas, Ashley Smith (Jesse), Kylie Underwood (Josh) and Kaleb Kangas; his great grandchildren, Josie Smith, Layla Perkins and Freya Underwood; and his sister Sharon Hannan (Earl) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
