He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Moffitt and Gertrude Moffitt; his siblings, Gayle Moffitt (Rosale), Marion McArthur (Robert), Paul Moffitt (Beverly), Evelyn Thelen (Howard), Norma Record (Richard), Duane Moffitt (Celia) and David Moffitt; and his close friend Jerry Wuerfel.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nedra Moffitt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephew; other family members and friends.
