He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mae and Annie Mae (Lowery); and his siblings, Wilma Abbott, Raymond Rose and Malcolm Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Krumrei; his daughters, Anna Rose (Rich) and Vicki Rose; his grandchildren, Stephanie Shinabery (Dakota Parsell), Erik Shinabery (Jessica Conkin) and Jennifer Oswalt; and his great grandchild Maddilynn Shinabery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
