With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul John Schauer of Paw Paw, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul John Schauer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his brother Joseph. He is survived by : his parents, Paul Schauer and Dixie Schauer (Mahar); his children, Taylor Schauer, Paul Jaco (Madison) and Jonathan Jaco; his granddaughter Olive Rae Jaco; his sister Mary Strand; his nieces and nephews, Cory Strand, Casey Wallace, Cameron Strand, Sydney Schauer, Joshua Schauer and Jessica Madill; and his friend Bo George. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Adams Funeral Home (502 W Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, MI 49079). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Saint Mary Catholic Church (209 S Brown St, Paw Paw, MI 49079). A committal service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery. The military honors was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
