He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis McGee and Mae McGee (Roy); his spouse Shirley Taylor; his son Blair McGee; and his siblings, Celinda McGee and Gary McGee.

He is survived by: his sons, Bryan McGee, Marty McGee and Mark McGee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
