She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Wilson LaPine and Viola Mae LaPine (Thorpe); her husband David Oakleaf; her daughter April Bentley; and her brothers, Jack LaPine and Lyle LaPine.

She is survived by: her children, Vicky Hickok (Douglas), Erin Kissinger (Andrew), Tal Bentley (Debbie) and Paul Abnet; her grandchildren, Bryan Hickok, Keith Hickok (Andrea), Kyle Hickok (Samantha), Sarah Heuser, Shana Heuser, Dylan Abnet, Logan Kissinger, Lila Kissinger and Liam Kissinger; and her great grandchildren, Amara Christenson, Anna and Ava Hickok. She is also survived by her children and a loving and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren.
