He was predeceased by: his father John H. Tapper Sr. (Cavender); his wife Jeri Tapper (Moses); and his brother Terry Tapper (Linda). He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Tapper (Ann) and Craig Tapper (Megan); his grandchildren, Jack, Samantha, Erin, Brooke, Colin Tapper, Mitchell, Matthew and Adeline; and his siblings, John Tapper Jr. (Linda), Thomas Tapper (Sheryl), Julie Gromek (late Ted), Bill Tapper (Sue), James Tapper (Tammy), David Tapper (Susan) and Michael Tapper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (502 W Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, MI 49079). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
