He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Staggs and Florence L. Staggs (Hunter); his daughter Shari L. Tyler; his grandson Daniel Tyler (Kimberly); and his siblings, Donald Staggs and Betty Middleton.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Staggs (Cook); his sons, Thomas R Staggs, Jr. and Barry W. Staggs (Bobbie); and his grandchildren, Tim Staggs, T. C. Staggs, Travis Staggs, Tabitha Leedy (Aaron), Stephen Tyler (Tara), Joshua Staggs (Megan) and Matthew Staggs. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiner's Children's Hospital.
