He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Girard and Jeanet Girard; his wife Linda Girard; his daughter Susie Girard; and his son-in-law Randy Herrick.

He is survived by : his daughters, Carie Bennett (Ron), Marie Warren (Steve) and Krista Herrick; and his sister Janeen Bennett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grand children.
