He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Snyder and Doris E. Snyder (Brockmyer); his wives, Ruth Ann and Sandra; his brothers, James and John Snyder; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Snyder and Marcia Snyder.
He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Newstedt; his daughters, Mary Catherine Crumlich (David) of Columbia, SC and Elizabeth Snyder (Michael Boye) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Zachary Crumlich (Maddy), Noah Crumlich, James Boye and Emily Herrberg; his brothers, Thomas Snyder (Bobbette) of Anderson, IN and William Snyder (Elaine) of Indianapolis; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Snyder and Kathy Sromek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
