He was predeceased by: his mother Eva L. Berumen (Luevano); and his grandparents, Jose A. Berumen, Sr., Maria Guadalupe Berumen, Jose Tereso Luevano and Estanislada Luevano.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Berumen, Jr.; his father Jose A. Berumen; his siblings, Eva Reyna (Victor) and Emanuel Berumen (Eva); and his nieces and nephews, Xitlali Reyna, Regina Lebron, Steven Lebron and Lisa Lebron. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Memorial contributions may be made to his son, Matthew Berumen, Jr., to assist with school expenses.
