With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Douglas Clayton of Perry, Michigan, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clayton and Dorothy Clayton (Curtis); his wife Claudia Clayton; his sons, Charles Clayton and Mark Clayton; and his brother Thomas Clayton.
He is survived by: his son Matt Clayton (Angela); his daughters-in-law, Allison Schluchter and Julie Stevens; his grandchildren, Christina, Cathy, Bethany and Noah; his great grandchildren, Loralei, Lynkon, Daxton and Landyn; and his siblings, Jack Clayton, Jim Clayton, Julie Globke and Rose DeMatio (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
