We bid farewell to Emmette Earle Burns Jr. (Perry, Michigan), born in Flint, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2026 at the age of 69. Emmette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmette Earle Burns Sr. and Goldie Burns. He is survived by: his wife Linda Burns; his children, Emmette Earle Burns III (Ashley), Angie Mills (Jason), Christine Jarrad (Jimmy) and Matt Burns (Kellie); his grandchildren, Brady, Eli Burns, Riley, Jayden, Jake Mills, Russell Jarrad, Claire and Wesley Burns; and his siblings, Judy Barber (Ron) and Mark Burns (Katie). He is also survived by loving Papa and he gave their grandchildren.
