She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Ray and Laura Bowles (Maine); her husband William J. Niles; her son William "Butch" J. Niles; and her grandson Tyler.

She is survived by : her significant other Duane Tune; her children, Patricia Torkelson (Gerhard) and Walter Niles (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Eric Torkelson (Hunter), Tonya Jaiswal (Kashish), Dennis Niles (Wendy) and BillyJo Ford (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Brendan, Bailee, Naomi, Destiny, William, Tempest and David.
