We announce the death of Robert Eugene Blount (Perry, Michigan), who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 82. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blount and Aldis Blount (Dykes); his brother George Ronald Blount; and his stepson Michael March. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Lee Blount; his children, Cindy Cloud, Andrew Blount, Patrick Michael Blount and Mark Alan Blount (Lynda); his stepchildren, Sue, Mark Locke, Tom, Sheri March, Judy, Jim Cunningham, Karen, Dan Crawford, Larry Allen and Gwen March; his grandchildren, Patrick M. Blount, Jr., Veronica Blount and Elias Blount; and his sister Alice Marie (Joe Martin). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes (214 S Main St, Perry, MI 48872). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a children's charity of choice.
