In the sacred silence of farewell, Ronald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ronald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith and Eva Jean Smith (Rosen). He is survived by: his daughters, Christine (Brad Ford), Carole (Kelly Davis), Candice (Chris Fleszar), Cheryle (Matt Eisen) and Coreene (Jason Kreiser); his former spouse Beverly; and his brothers, Bruce and David Smith. He is also survived by his five daughters: 14 grandchildren: and four (soon to be five) great‑grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund or the Alzheimer's Association, supporting research, care, and advocacy.
