She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lingo and Josephine Lingo (Lane); her sister Lucille Van Gieson; her sons, Keith, Scott and Doug; and her grandson Jefferson.

She is survived by: her husband Morgan A. Porter Jr. (Bud); her son Pete Porter (Angie); and her daughters-in-law, Ginny Carrolton and Jeanie Porter. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, as well as extended family.
