It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William L. Colby of Perry, Michigan, who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parent Russell Colby; his children, Cam Colby (Kristi), Mike Colby (Krista), Dianne Norton and Lisa VanMaele (John); his siblings, Greg Colby, Rory Colby (Sue) and Debbie Strachan; his grandchildren, Justin Colby (Aleigha), Jill Colby, Zack Colby, Drew Colby, Abigail Stewart (Jeff), Tony Norton, Michael Mooradian, Brandon Mooradian (Kelly), Bill Colby (Amanda), Sara VanMaele and Joe VanMeale; his great grandchildren, Mary, Emily Morradian, Madison Norton, Mackenzie, Ashlynn Stewart, Arya Johnson, Kya, Kate Mooradian, Julia Colby and Brennan Colby; his siblings-in-law, Judy Broom Gay and Jim Fike; his wife Betty Colby (Broom); his siblings, Russell Jr., Vicki Williams, Connie Hubbard and Marie Fike; his daughter Elaine; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Williams, Glen Hubbard, Dale Broom, Keith Strachan and Barbara Cobb. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Perry Area Fireman Association in honor of Bill.
