He is survived by: his mother Martha Merrill (Kleinschrodt); his wife Charlene Merrill; his sons, Carl Jr. Merrill (Kim) and Michael Merrill (Kortney Heckman); his grandson Colby Merrill; and his siblings, Irene Radle, Dennis Merrill (Kathy) and Henry Baumgartner (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
