He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Pennington and Lorraine Pennington (Peterson); his daughter-in-law Karen (White); his close friend Bucky; his wife Karen; his children, Sarah Bertsch (Michael) and Charlie Pennington (Kayla); his stepchildren, Kelsey and Evan Rosinski; his sisters, Pam, Phyllis and Laurie Pennington; and his grandchildren, Gehrig (Bertsch), Kaylie, Mary and Reese (Pennington).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hiland Cottage, 1 Hiland Drive, Petoskey, Michigan 49770; and to enjoy a cold beer at your favorite place, with your favorite people, because Roger will probably tag along.
