He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, Brandy Briggs, Stephen and Austin Jimmicum; his great grandchildren, Taytum Akin, Taelynn Ruiz-Santana, Weengush, Noodin, Wassmowin, Wiigwaas and Zibbi Craven; his stepdaughter Sarah Gasco; his sisters, Gertrude, Trudey Chingwa, Mary Jane Kiogima and Sylvia Loha; his siblings-in-law, Lewis Adams (Melony), Susan Swadling, Anahid Adams and Jane Kiogima; his parents, Louis Chingwa and Ruby Chingwa (Mills); his former wife Michelle Chingwa; his wife Dorothy Gasco; his children, Terri Chingwa-Jimmicum and Chakepe Ophi Chingwa; his stepson Douglas Gasco Jr.; his brother Vernon Chingwa; his siblings-in-law, Harvey Gibson, Darwin Swadling, John Adams, Edwin Sagataw, Louis Kiogima, Mary Gibson and Janet Sagataw; and his nephew Alan Kiogima. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
