He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kiersey and Eleanor Kiersey (Erikson); his wife Karan Anderson; and his siblings, Opal Kiersey, Denver Kiersey (Barb), Donald Kiersey (MaryEllen), Hugh "Ole" Kiersey (Joan), Robert Kiersey (Lois), Ralph Kiersey, Georgia "Kay" Alpers (Carl) and Beulah Benedict (Maurice).
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Kiersey (John Hickey) and Joseph Kiersey (Andre Williams). He is also survived by 80 nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
