He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Charles Yates Sr. and Orian Wyberta (Little). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Jerry Yates, Jeff Yates and TJ Yates; his sister-in-law Julia Tanner; and his nephews, Michael Williams and Christopher Williams.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stone Funeral Home (2098 E Mitchell Rd, Petoskey, MI 49770).
