He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sergeson and Florence Sergeson; and his nephew Daniel Sergeson. He is survived by: his brother Robert; his wife Mariellen Whitton Sergeson; his nephew Robert Bruce Sergeson; his niece Janet Ellen Sergeson; his children, John Birney (Kathy), Christine Killman (Kurt) and Jim; his grandchildren, John (Emily), Patrick (Laura), Matthew (Britta), Kelly (Ryan), Kate (Ryan) and Joe; and his great grandchildren, Theron, Shea, Jack, Scottie, Althea and Cameron.
