He was predeceased by: his mother Jean Peterson Starling. He is survived by: his wife Betsy; the mother of his children Betsy Kidd Starling; his children, Claire Jim (Chris Dadaian) and Ali (Adam Parker); and his grandchildren, Nolan, Graham Dadaian, Davis, Leyna Starling, Louisa and Wilder Parker Starling.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in honor of Jim Starling, to the Opportunity Scholarship at Carroll University, which is tailored for first generation college students.
