Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Hoggard of Petoskey, Michigan, born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 75, on March 10, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dale Stark and Bernadine Stark; her sister Shelley; her brother-in-law Patrick Sullivan (Sully); her former life partner Keith Hoggard; and her pets, Mitzie and Ziggy.
She is survived by : her nephew Ryan (Sylvia); her children, Jason Hoggard (Sarah) and Jaime McGuiness (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Addison, Kensington, Nash, Alexa, Jack and William; her siblings, Marilyn Johns (Angelo), Nancy Monica (Jerry) and Tim Stark (Bonnie); her daughters, Heather Brown (Devin) and Marie Skrobak; and her close friend Jim Becker.
As an expression of the celebration of Joan's life the family asks that in lieu of flowers a contribution to Little Traverse Conservancy in her honor be made. Donations will go towards a bench overlooking the Minnehaha in Joan's memory.
