He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack Vincent and Timothy; and his parents, Jack, Sr. and Dorothy. He is survived by: his significant other Patricia MacDonald (Trish); his children, Jack Garber III (Ilena), Peter (Sarah) and Joey (Victoria); his grandchildren, Dorothy, Blakely, Henry, Elinor and Campbell; and his siblings, Randy (Sperry) and Gretchen.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Childhood Church (150 W Main St, Harbor Springs, MI 49740).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Anglers of the Au Sable or to the Jack Garber Family Fund at the Petoskey Harbor Springs Community Foundation.
