He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Longworth and Dorothy Longworth; his brother Barrie; and his stepdaughter Megan Cummins. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Longworth (Victoria), Nigel Longworth (Erika) and Sandy Longworth; his stepchildren, Jon Cummins (Caroline) and Kathryn Cummins-Bakko (Brett); his uncle Roy; his friends, John Rowe and Joe Blachy; his wife Linda Starmer Longworth; his sister Judith Weston (Barry) of Brisbane, Australia; his in-laws, Bill Starmer (Carol) and Nancy Starmer McMahon (Kevin); and his friend Eckhart Grohmann. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Emmanual Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (1020 E Mitchell St, Petoskey, MI 49770).
