He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil and Helen Mays (Tomlin); his wife Judy Mays (Rightenburg) of Petoskey; his sons, Rodney Mays of Petoskey, Craig Schrage (Sherry) of Petoskey, BJ, Adam Schrage (Lori Hopp) of Gaylord and Eric Schrage (Lisa De) of Alanson; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Marlee, Luke, Trent, Derek, Courtney, Tylor, Mason and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Genesis, Owen and Bentley; and his sisters, Jean Johnson (John) of Crozet, Virginia and Terry Anderson (Wayne) of Virginia. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
