William Edward Bielas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 81, William Edward Bielas of Petoskey, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Bielas and Lillian Agnes Bielas (Rigoni); and his sister Beverly Ann North (Bielas). He is survived by: his wife Mary Bielas; his children, William M. Bielas (Amy) and Lisa M. Dopke (Mark); his grandchildren, Kiersten Bielas, Allen, Andrea Bielas, Alexis Bielas (Steven), Jordyn Smeltzer, Chloe Smeltzer (Hunter), Lindsay and Drew Heckman (Joel Smeltzer); and his sister Betty Jean Lauer (Bielas).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to local veterans' organizations or Boy Scout Troop 7 in Bill's honor.
