It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann McEvoy of Pierson, Michigan, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Ergang and Ethel Ergang (Waller); her brothers, John and Keith Ergang; and her pet Indigo.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen; her children, Gail VandenBerg (Joseph), Jim VanWagoner (Teresa), Christopher McEvoy, Bryant McEvoy, Angela Swiger (David) and Ann Marie West; her grandchildren, Matt, Gabrielle, Rena, Owen, Marcus, Madeline, Isabel, Mia, Cora and Skylar; her great grandchildren, Agustin and Vivienne; and her siblings, Bryan Ergang (Karen) and Anita Meszaros. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease or CorsoCare Hospice or a charity of your choice.
