It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James N. McCowen of Pierson, Michigan, born in Bismarck, Arkansas, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John McCowen and Sarah McCowen (Jessup); his sisters, Geraldine Keeney, Joanne Dobbs and Linda; and his great grandchild Miles McCowen.

He is survived by : his wife Ginger; his children, Dayna Hansen, David McCowen (Pat), Tony McCowen (Jill), Stuart McCowen (Rachel), Travis McCowen, Rebecca Vasquez and Narciso Vasquez; and his siblings, Beth, Kenneth McCowen (Judy) and Donald. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren.
