He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald Armstrong Sr. and Esther Armstrong (Williams); and his father Larry Fields. He is survived by: his mother Debra Armstrong; his wife Deborah Armstrong; his children, Nathan Armstrong of Pierson, Natasha Fisher (Eddie) of Cedar Springs and Pam Sattergren of San Rafael, California; his grandchild Logan Sattergren; his siblings, Jay Thebo Jr. of Morley, Leah Norton (Joel) of Pierson, Lorna Goolsby (Greg) of Bellview, Brent Fields (Laura) of Grand Rapids and Lori Sumner (Konrad) of Zeeland; and his father-in-law Arie Jipping of Rockport. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those wishing to honor Kerry's memory to make a contribution to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
