It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Robert Ulrich of Pigeon, Michigan, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Ulrich and Theresa Ulrich (Reichstatter). He is survived by : his wife Pearl; his children, Charles, Dale (Carol) of Kentwood, Kenneth of Okemos, Janet Wichert (David) of Saginaw and Linda Voss (Timothy) of Bay Port; his grandchildren, Jason Voss (Tisa), Brian Ulrich (Molly), Allison Fudalski (Ian), Christopher Ulrich, Christina Wichert Said (Mohamed), Joshua Wichert (Tiffany), Joel Wichert, Nicole Bulemore (Cory), Katelyn Withers (Casey), Andria Tyler, Justin Ulrich (Kara), Tyler Ulrich and Cameron Ulrich; his stepgrandchildren, Gus Unseld, Katrina Unseld and Angela Cote (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Tyler, Luke, Rosalie Ulrich, Carson Fudalski, Zachary, Jacob Cote, Mya, Wesley, Natalie Kober, Brianna, Brennan Mathias, Harper Unseld, Graham Wichert, Ilana and Nour Said; his sisters, Mildred Mason and Clara Peppi; his great grandchild Mason Kober; his stepgranddaughter Lauren Unseld; his siblings, Raymond, Walter, Wilma Long and Erna Varner; and his daughter-in-law Laurie Dahlstrom Ulrich.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family's discretion or to the GLK Student Fund (glkstudentfund.com) that provides educational scholarships to students in Tanzania, Africa, which his daughter, Linda, has been supporting.
