It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Jane Elenbaum of Pigeon, Michigan, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Paul Sonntag; her husband Roger Elenbaum; and her grandson Jack McBride. She is survived by: her mother Della Sonntag (Kurzer); her children, Kris McBride (Jamie) of Waterford, Paul Elenbaum (Patti) of Indiana, Sherry Larsen of Colorado and Kimberly Litchfield (Gavin) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Jacob, Maggie, Chase, Jenna, Andee, Ezra, Everleigh and Ryleigh; and her brothers, Larry Sonntag (Connie) of Bay City and Dale Sonntag (Diane) of Sebewaing. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Global Methodist Church (23 Mabel St, Pigeon, MI 48755).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bayshore Camp or Salem Global Methodist Church.
