He is survived by: his wife Linda Grifka; his children, Todd of Pigeon, Joel (Lara) of Apollo Beach, FL and Beth Ann Damm (Ryan) of Pigeon; his grandchildren, Cassie Stahl, Ryleigh Tate, Kennedy Tate, Natalie Damm and Reagan Damm; and his brothers, Richard (Mary) of Cass City and Timothy (Trisha) of Pigeon.

Memorials may be made to Cross Lutheran Church and Winsor Fire Department.
